Product Review: Lustrous Henna® Brown
“I was initially afraid of switching from chemical dye to henna, because I was worried it would make my greys carrot orange... but after trying Saba's products, I'm hooked. While the greys are a slightly lighter shade than my non greys, it is a nice natural tone. Whereas hair dye covers over the highlights you have in your natural hair color, light-reflective henna reveals the beautiful highlights you already possess.
The most important reason to henna: for your health, and that of the planet. Hair dye adds an unnecessary toxic load to your body. I arrived at henna because I had a case of poison oak that would not go away. Under the orders of a naturopath I looked to all culprits. The black dye I was using in my hair was high in PPD -- a bad chemical. Google it and you will read horror stories. LSS, I will never chemical dye again. Product Review: Lustrous Henna® Dark Brown
“I just applied my Lustrous Henna yesterday. I then went out to lunch with my 16 year old son and was asked if he was my brother! Your product has made my hair shiny and soft. It gives my white hairs a beautiful reddish highlight and seems to have knocked about 10 years off my real age. I am assuming they meant a much older sister, just not old enough to be his mother. Seriously, I have tried this product before, and I do have to apply it more frequently than others since I wash my hair every other day. It does leave my hair with beautiful shine, highlights, and volume, better than anything else, and it is gentle.
